So I've jumped straight in - having just discovered the world of blogging today (thank you Irish Times for a wonderful article on women blogs in Ireland) I think I may have found an outlet for the chatterings that normally go round my head!
I realise that may be a bit scary for the world outside - listening (reading? not entirely sure about blog linguistics or etiquette as yet!) to an average thirtysomething Irish mam nattering about the days happenings may not be a particularly attractive prospect but sure if it just provides a semi-creative outlet for me then happy days!!
So what might you find at Nattering Chatterings? Well just that, a bit of natter, some musings on the trials and tribulations of navigating life in (post?) Celtic Tiger Ireland as a working mother with a supportive husband, mortgage, guilt complex.......I'd better stop there! For the moment no piccies or design just some waffle but hopefully I'll build this blog into something pretty that's more than just words. Of course it remains to be seen how this will fit into the 'get kids up, get kids to school, get myself to work, work, work, pick up kids, do homework, feed family, clean up, make lunches, put kids to bed,clean up some more, collapse in a heap daily grind!' (Oh, I do actually have a bit of fun along the way!)
